Read your article. I don't if you are Indian or not. But your article is just another academic one with references to the so called Western Authority of Indian, or for that matter any Eastern, culture. It drives me nuts when people who have no instruction from the proper tradition try to dissect it in the name of scholarship, donning the coat of unbiasedness. No matter how much you read or live with the Native Americans, I as an Indian, would never be able to interpret their ideals, stories. Its the same with every culture. I bet every western man would be up in arms if I start trying the same on their culture, religion etc. So if you are an Indian, please refer from someone who has grown in that culture. There are lot of traditions for this sole purpose. ANd if you are not Indian please do try to understand it in our best sense and not with superficial references to some 19th century European. Its not fair.

Not to mention that, by reading so much academic work, you manage to write academic studies on your own later on, in a very accurate style due to the experience you`ve gained.

The point is that academic writing has certain research and content patterns that actually describe it as what it is and makes it recognizable and referentially acknowledged in the scientific world. Don`t complain about academic writing. Instead, perform some exercise on how to read academic writing efficiently. For instance, I recall that on my rn bsn online I had a lot of research to make by getting insight on reading academic articles. Once you get used to the pattern, you know where to find the essential info at a first glance. It works wonderfully.

sorry for 'driving you nuts' friend.
i am an indian and would appreciate more if you could come up with some positive suggestions with the purpose of improvisation. i have noted your point and appreciate your concern. nobody is a know all and attempts and endeavours however limited they may be, are worthy of encouragement. moreover this topic is like an ocean and its a near impossible task to discuss it with all perspectives and viewpoints with the varieties it exists in.
anyways your suggestions are welcome.
thanks

Hello Koul,

I read your so called article which is bunch of throwing unconfirmed names and refrences. Your aim being similar to what is the aim of ruling Pundit elites in Delhi - that is to oblitrate the name and faith in Rama and institute "Nehru" in place. The govt submission to the Supreme Court is an evidence to that..the previous sixty years botch up in our text books, is a clearcut misguided effort in that direction... however, culure is greater than history, I believe.

Poor guys.. I must say the effort is misdirected... Let us see if it is Nehru, Ambedkar, Lalu, Karuna or Jaylaita who takes the void created by Ram after you would have killed Him. The preserver of the culture are the masses.. thank God, only less than two percent of that multitude understand your flowery and ungrammetical and presumptive yankee English.

Ramayan conatins the answer:

Jaki rahi bhavana jaisi, Prabhu moorat dekhi tin taissi.

that is what you need to understand... it is "bhavana" that matters... every thing else is Maya or illusion... may be including what you wrote..and what I write.. Hmmm

Hi Folks,
See the Bhavna of Indians from Fiji. 99.9% of Indians of Hindu ancestry follow the religion of their fore-fathers from mother India. Their life totally revolves around the Hindu culture and tradition. See how they recite Ramayan on YouTube link below.

Even if you have tried your best to comment on the Ramayana, i have to say that it is terrible. There are many errors.

1> Please explain the word 'Aryan' because this word has been greatly misunderstood by the westerners. It was first used in the text 'Rig Veda'.In fact, the authoritative Sanskrit lexicon (c. 450 AD), the famous Amarakosa gives the following definition:

" mahakula kulinarya sabhya sajjana sadhavah "
An Arya is one who hails from a noble family, of gentle behavior and demeanor, good-natured and of righteous conduct

2>"....the Aryan conquest of the south." Now this theory was given by Max Muller who was chosen by the British Government in India to translate the Vedas as he had knowledge of Sanskrit language. He was not a bad person but he was lured by the Britishers to work in their interest and give birth to the Aryan-Invasion theory which suited their 'DIVIDE and RULE' policy.

The evidence of science now points to two basic conclusions: first, there was no Aryan invasion, and second, the Rigvedic people were already established in India no later than 4000 BCE.
